Platform 9¾ : HP7 pt.2 Midnight Screening. July 15th

As the final chapter of our childhood, and forever more STILL, obsession came to a close, we ventured down town to watch the Midnight screening and release of Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows pt.2 on July 15th. Weeks prior, wand and costume peroration took place. Day in and out, lines from the book were spoken from memory as we prepared ourselves for the, what was suppose to be, the ride our our lives. <----- I was MAD on the ball spitting those HP lines =D. We had a lot of fun in the line discussing, reminiscing and knit picking at each and every area of the book with each other, and other fans in the line. Though the movie was a BIG disappointment, the Snape story line remained in tact and heart warming as I only hoped it would be. The true story that I know in my imagination, will forever trump the blasphemy I have seen in this movie. So you know what, " 'All is well': Harry". Hard tears were shed during this event and series it self . It will be surly missed, but we must remember this is not the end.

Summer Time Shine

Man these past few days have been soo EVENTFUL!! Today I finally beat my friend Berjae at Dutch Blitz or what we called “Blitzkrieg” and I’m so happy. Stacking is now officially my favorite past time. Other than be extremely hot today, a swim in our well known neighbour Tim’s pool was so needed. I suggest you all go and make friends with a neighbor that has a pool, unless that is you have your own, and then in that case I guess your square. The only bad thing about swimming is, I hate getting my hair wet This unfortunately dose not stop BERJAE and other friends from trying to get me wet or submerge me in the water. If they only knew what I had to go through once I got home, which they do because I tell them every time haha.....*sigh* MAD. I’m just happy that finally our neighbourhood summer plans have fallen into place. I have been rockin this lace top quite a lot this summer already, and it has now fallen into my staple group. I simply love how it feels so free and flowy, if this is word, every time I wear it.

Mint Sorbet

I found this mint vest at Value Village and every time I look at it or put it on, I feel like playing in the park. Then after running around like a kid, the Dickie Dee should come around the corner chiming, and bring me a fudge sickle. The colour of this vest is so YUMMY, and the feeling of it just make me want to yell WHOOPIE!! I really love the look of pastel colours on my skin.

Oh What A Night

This past weekend, I have to say sadly, has actually been the highlight of my whole entire school year in Windsor. Though a month from over, I think it’s safe to say, everything that is and has yet to come has been summed up in the four previous days that were my weekend.

It was my new found friend Shanice’s 19th birthday, and a one to remember indeed. With a rented hotel room downtown and a group of her closest friends, that Friday night couldn’t have started out more BOMPIN! As I mingled and exchanged jokes with the lot, I almost my life in laughter about a million times. My friend Keyahnaa and I, my new Ride & Ride chick, managed rock each other’s world with our true life experiences. While Friday ended on a good note, Saturday seemed to follow in its footsteps. I and two other of Shaniece’s friends took her DT- downtown- for her first LEGAL AGE club experience. I fell that turning 19 is such a big milestones in a young person’s life because that means “I can finally do things all by myself - NO FAKES NO NOTHING!”, so I was definitely determined to make sure she had a good time, as I would have wanted on my birthday.

As we hopped from club to club, we danced the night away and watched my bangs, as they were destined to, curl up into a baby afro. With the night about my girl, I payed no mind and kept on dancing. As the club grew to a close, two AFT’s managed to scoop us up and give us the closing dance that we needed. After arriving back at the hotel, the jokes continued and HI-LARIOUS lingered the air. All I have to say is…….to all the new people that I met, “why did I only meet you now?” You kids crack me up and are probably the only good thing about this place. I surely had to dig deep – LOL. Also, shout out to my new found friend Angela who graced me with the opportunity of getting my nails done for the first time =D ……………….. Oh what a night.

HEY! You’ve probably noticed the change in my blog. YUP the renovations are done. Although some things will be tweaked here and there, I just want to say thank you to my friend Dan for helping me with everything. Look for him in a few years, I guarantee you he’s going to blow up =).

Spring Has Sprung

"Spring has sprung , the grass is GRIZZ , I wonder where the birdies is?"

GUYS, I saw a worm on the ground on my way to school yesterday. Although I was very scared, a smile coundn't help but slide across my face =D . It was the first day of spring and the weather could not have been more nice. Don't get me wrong, it was still chilly but nothing a scarf couldn't fix. I went down town yesterday to replace my earphones that have finally reached their end. There comes a point where twisting the ear phone cord around in differet directions, in order to pick up the faintess bit of sound, just doesn't cut it anymore. As I strolled through the streets of Windsor, a crazy man approached me - as expected. He mumbled the words " you want me to take it", as in a picture, in a crazy high pitched voice followed by a laugh. I gave a blank stare and as he walked away still laughing. There is one thing about downtown I love though, you always leave laughing. I did end up finding some ear phones , but they didn't end up being any better than the ones I had. So far I don't have to do any twisting and turning, so it's all good HAHA.

All Good Things Come To An End.....

Well , my march break has finally come to and end. I'm sad that I have to go back to school, because after this break my mind really isn't in the study mind set. But as i think about it, i'm really not gonna be gone for long. A month and a half to be exact, which kind of scares me because that means exams are coming again but ehh, what can you do. For all my friends I didnt see, that happen to read this, I cant wait until summer when we can REALLY hang out and not just say were going to HAHA. For those of you I did see, thank you soo much for making me *laugh my life away* . I'm going to have to put some muscle rub cream on my stomach to release the pain. I've seen another side of some of you and i'm happy for that, which makes me even more sad to go. But HEY!! summer is actually, no i'm serious -- LITERALLY around the corner so i'm not gonna stay too sad =D.

Black Swan

I spent this past week at home, due to the school reading week, and boy was that time well needed. I had to take the VIA train home, and from my past two experiences I have noticed that “WOMPs”, other wise know as “cute guys”, always seem to congregate on the VIA rail route to Toronto. If you’ve ever been to Windsor, you’ll notice that there is a very low WOMP rate and if your lucky enough to see any, it will mainly be at night when they come out from studying and you happen to look all worn out from a long hard day. In that particular moment you don’t want to be seen by any WOMPs, in fear that they may cower at you, remember your face, or probably just take you for one of the local Windsor crazies. I know this may sound a little dramatic, but I know all you girls know what I’m talking about. This scenario goes for any particular place you personally may be. Now with that background information, let me continue. After my humble weekend at home, I had to once again take the VIA rail back to Windsor. With the pervious knowledge of WOMPs in my brain, I made sure to wear something cute ^ ^. After I boarded the train and settled into my window seat, the other seats quickly began to fill up. To my anticipation, a WOMP came to me and requested to sit. I obviously was like “yeah sure go ahead!”, and began to get excited as I watched, from my peripherals, him settling in. ---- creepy, yes I know. The economy class in VIA is very cramped, which means your extraaaa close ; D. You barely have enough space to share the arm rest between you and the person next to you, and that can get annoying at times. But the one thing I love is when is a cute guy is sitting next to you and your arms touch accidentally. Which finally brings me to the story. While sitting on the train, our arms did just that, and he cutely pulled away. It Happened like ten times that I couldn’t help but laugh, and then we laughed together. I love when things like this happen because then it gives me a reason to start talking and make…FRIENDS!!

[FASHION TIP]
Ever since the movie Black Swan, came out, ballet has shown a new light on Fashion. Ballerina esque styles are popping out of the woodwork and everywhere you look someone’s got there hair in an up bun or dressed up in dance wear. Next time your in the mall, look out for anything tulle or ballerina like. It definitely makes stand out statement in this cold winter.
